The first wine was made by Esporão in 1985. A classic obtained exclusively from our organic grapes. The diversity of Herdade do Esporão, together with the different characteristics of the grape varieties, the soils, the maturity of the vines and the character of those who make this wine consistently over the years, results in a rich, intense but always harmonious wine. 
Colour: Intense Ruby.
Aroma: Blackberry aromas. cocoa, dark chocolate, liquorice and a hint of black pepper.
Palate: Rich and complex with notes of black ripe fruit and spices. Persistent finish.
Total Acidity: 6.49 g/l
PH: 3.5
Reducing Sugar: 2.8 g/l
